.NET CHALLENGE 2019
.NET CHALLENGE 2018On Thursday 19 April 2018, the .Net Challenge 18 awarded prizes to Belgium’s best Dotnetters at a final held on the premises of Microsoft. Among the 16 finalists, it was Christian Baune (1st prize), Hannes Neukermans (2nd prize) and Jeroen Merckx (3rd prize) who stood out.
Organised by Satellit with the support of Microsoft , the .Net Challenge of 2018 proved an unequivocal success, with more than 800 participants on line who, between 26/02 and 19/04, pitted their wits against each other in the quiz created especially for the occasion. Only the best 16 were able to take part in the final. This was held live, in front of the panel of judges consisting of professionals brought together for the occasion, in 2 rounds (pre-qualifiers and grand final). Each contestant had to demonstrate both his/her knowledge and his/her speed and, at this game, it was 3 Dotnetters who turned out to be the best: Christian Baune (1983 – technical advisor), Hannes Neukermans (1981 – senior .Net developer) and Jeroen Merckx (1986 – lead developer). Patrick De Geynst (Satellit), head of the panel of judges: “The standard of the contestants was particularly good for this 2nd event. What’s more, the standard of quizzes drawn up by the judges was very high: the winners this year can be truly proud of their performances! And we are delighted at the growing success being enjoyed by the .Net Challenge !” Valérie Pierre (Microsoft), Marketing Director: “We are very proud to have hosted the final of the .Net community challenge on our premises. The quality of the content, the standard of the contestants as well as the mutual respect they show contribute to the culture of innovation and trust that Microsoft shares with the community of developers. “ Boosted by this new success, the .Net Challenge is now preparing for its 3rd event next year, with the objective of continuing to unite the community of Dotnetters and to widen its circle even further. See you in 2019! |
